| Early intervention
services help young children with disabilities achieve their
goals in cognitive, social/emotional, communicative, adaptive
and physical development. Specialized services that focus on
these areas of development increase the chances a child will be
better prepared for school and develop to his or her full
potential.
One of our most successful
programs offers help for dyslexia. So many children suffer from demised
self-worth due to poor reading. Many times they exhibit behavior problems to
distract from their inability to read. Once they understand we will help them
work through the maize of words called sentences, they are excited to relax and
put down the shield of disruptive behavior. A behavior therapist is on staff to
assist the children in order to reach their goals. References
will be provided on request.

Tomorrow's Hope provides
appropriate educational experiences; special therapies provided
by contracted therapist, to include, but are not limited to,
physical, occupational, speech and language therapy; family
support and parent-to-parent networks; service coordination; and
transition supports to facilitate smooth change from early
intervention to day school programs, either to Tomorrow's Hope
Hi-Tech Division, or an equally appropriate setting based on the
child's needs. |
